Summary
When a workplace injury happens, reporting it quickly helps us begin processing the claim for services and benefits.
We’ve recently improved our online injury reporting form to make it easier and more convenient for workers to report injuries online.
The improved form is designed for workers with a physical injury from a single incident at work (that is, an injury that did not develop gradually over a period of time).
The updates include a mobile-friendly design, user-friendly navigation and visuals, easy-to-understand questions, and the ability to automatically save responses. For a preview, watch this video: How to report your injury online.
Other ways to report an injury
Teleclaim will continue to be an option for workers who prefer to report by phone, need support, or are reporting other types of injuries. Mail or fax also remain options to submit an injury report.
How will this affect you?
- If you are a worker, the updated online channel gives you more convenience, flexibility, and control over how you report an injury.
- If you support workers (for example, you’re a union representative or advocate), you’ll want to be aware of these changes so you can help others navigate the updated options.
